The Pacific Lifter, the largest barge mounted crane in the region, arrived at Pier 58 in early March to lift pile caps into position & place them on top of piles.

#ICYMI: We recently presented the #Kitsap engine room crew with a Life Ring Award. Just before midnight on 8/7, they heard yelling so used the ship’s searchlight to find someone in the water. They launched a rescue boat to retrieve and bring them to shore. Great job!

On February 9, 2023, Twitter cut off access to its free developer API, which we were using to power the news section of our SeattleWaterfront.org website.  Our software vendor, SmashBalloon is working on potential workarounds and solutions.   This problem affects nearly all websites making use of Twitter’s API.  We are also looking for alternatives.  Stay tuned.
