#ICYMI: We recently presented the #Kitsap engine room crew with a Life Ring Award. Just before midnight on 8/7, they heard yelling so used the ship’s searchlight to find someone in the water. They launched a rescue boat to retrieve and bring them to shore. Great job!

On February 9, 2023, Twitter cut off access to its free developer API, which we were using to power the news section of our SeattleWaterfront.org website. Our software vendor, SmashBalloon is working on potential workarounds and solutions. This problem affects nearly all websites making use of Twitter’s API. We are also looking for alternatives. Stay tuned.

Attention commuters: Flaggers at work for the next few days just south of Pike Street on Alaskan way to address emergency work on gas pipes. Expect intermittent traffic congestion around the Seattle Aquarium.
Starting Monday, March 6, our #Bremerton route will move to slip 2 in #Seattle. Slip 3 will be temporarily closed for electrical work. When work is done on slip 3, Bremerton route will return there.
