Get Around the Seattle Waterfront
The best way to experience Seattle’s Waterfront is on foot. The 1.3 mile stretch along Alaskan Way is marked by the Ferry Terminal on Colman Dock at the south end and the new Olympic Sculpture Park to the north. The walk from each end takes about 30 minutes, but you will surely be distracted by the many attractions and activities along the way.

Waterfront Streetcar Line
Free Metro bus service along the Waterfront and through Pioneer Square and the Chinatown/International District is provided by Route 99. Look for the green and yellow bus! Click on the link for schedule and fare information.

Ferry Information
Not only do the Washington State Ferries provide a unique, yet efficient transportation option when traveling across Elliott Bay, they also offer stunning views of Seattle’s skyline. Click the link above to view current ferry schedules.
Water Taxi Information
Water Taxi service across Seattle’s Elliott Bay operates from late April through late September. The Elliott Bay Water Taxi runs seven days a week, between Pier 55 at the foot of Spring Street on the Downtown Seattle Waterfront and Seacrest dock in West Seattle.
